The Queen’s Media and Journalism Conference is an annual student-run conference at Queen’s University under the Alma Mater Society that aims to provide Queen’s students with resources, information about careers, networking opportunities, and advice from professionals in the media and journalism field. We invite a diverse range of speakers to give presentations and workshops to delegates to provide an opportunity for Queen’s students to engage with the field.

The Queen’s Media and Journalism Conference is a great learning opportunity for students who are interested in pursuing journalism, a career in media, or who are unsure of what path to take after graduation. Because Queen’s does not have a journalism program, QMJC introduces students to the field and helps them engage with current professionals, topics, and issues related to media and journalism.
